Description

Social Media Volunteer

REMINERALIZATION utilizes finely ground rock dust and sea-based

minerals to restore soils and forests, produce higher yields and more

nutritious food, and store carbon in soils to stabilize the climate.

We are looking for a few Social Media volunteers to assist us in developing a social media strategy for our environmental nonprofit and growing our social networks (Facebook, Twitter, NING, etc).

A fun opportunity! Tasks will include: using the latest social media tools to promote our organization; reinforcing and developing social media strategies; maintaining established social media tools, particularly Facebook; and researching and reporting on emerging social media trends. We've had an active Facebook and NING site for the last year and we need a few new volunteers to continue the hard work of our previous social media coordinator, as well as bring their own energy and ideas to the table.

We work together on Basecamp, our project management system as well as Skype and Google Doc.

When responding please include an attached resume in PDF form and/or LinkedIN profile, along with how many hours per week you are able to volunteer. All responses are to be sent to jcampe@remineralize.org.

Thank you so much for considering volunteering with RTE! We look forward to hearing from you!
