The Letter Project - Letter Reader

Come on over to our HQ in Charlottesville to help us read, bundle and sort letters. You can come as frequently as you'd like (or even just once). We ask that you sign up in two-hour increments. In exchange, we will make you coffee.

• At its core, The Letter Project is simple: women writing letters to women and girls around the world who need extra encouragement. No problem is too big or small for us to send a little bit of handwritten love their way.
• Our primary goal is to teach women and girls that they are enough, no matter what. We want women to believe they were fearfully and wonderfully made. We live in a world where women are constantly reminded they are not enough – from anti-aging and diet products to our selfie culture – and everything in between.
• Our goal is to flip the message: this has nothing to do with how you look, what you’ve done or what you can’t do. By teaching women to love themselves better, we believe they will better love others. What could make the world kinder than more love going around?
