Description

On Monday, January 15, 2017, join your community for a Health Kit Packing Party at the Medina Entertainment Center, 500 Highway 55, Medina. We'll be packing and assembling health kits for hurricane survivors in Puerto Rico on Martin Luther King Day of Service from 5-7 pm. These health kits provide basic necessities like a hand towel, wash cloth, soap, toothbrush & toothpaste, comb, nail clipper and band aids to people forced to leave home because of natural disasters.

Let's work side-by-side with one another to make a positive difference in this world!

This is a drop-in event - come and stay as long as you can! Enjoy listening to great music by World Beat Connection as we work together. At 6 pm we'll break for a few inspiring words from Mauri Melander linking the legacy of MLK to our service. (Mauri is the principal of Lucy Laney Community Elementary School in North Minneapolis.) AND...Enjoy dinner and drinks at Robert's at the Medina Entertainment Center before, during or after.
