Come join us for the American Lung Association at the 10th annual Cycle the Seacoast ride in Portsmouth New Hampshire on Sunday, May 5th. Come help out for a couple hours or the entire day! We have many opportunities available along the historic Seacoast in New Hampshire! Please contact Melissa at or (207)-624-0306 for more information. You can also register right on the website.

Below are some examples of current volunteer needs!

1. Rest Stops – Hampton 9am – 12:30pm (3-4 people) // Rye 11:30am – 3pm (4-5 people) OR 7am – 11am (2 people)

Help set up the rest stop, pass out food and drinks and cheer cyclists on. Setup and breakdown may require lifting.

2. Route Marshals

Help direct cyclists along the route.


             -7-10am (2 people)

             -7-10:30am (2 people)

             -7-11am (2 people)

             -10am – 3pm (2 people)

             -10:30-3pm (2 people)


             -9:30am – 3pm (2 people)


             -9:30am – 2pm (2 people)


             -10am-2pm (2 people)

3. Start/Finish line setup & décor – 4:30am – 7:30am (2-8 people)

Assist staff with set up and decoration of areas of the start/finish line. Help set up tents and put out the cones

to create the finish line. Blow up balloons, cone off the finish line chute, hang and place other decorations. 

4. Parking/Directional – 5:00am – 10:30am (8 people)

Help direct cyclists and volunteers into the appropriate parking lot depending on their parking pass color. Ensure vehicles do not enter Redhook parking unless they have appropriate parking pass. Help direct pedestrians to the venue from Sig Sauer parking. 

5. HAM Radio Operator 6am - 3pm (falls within this range)

Help with communications on event day either at a rest stop or along the route in a SAG vehicle. HAM Radio license required.
