The Center for Urban Community Services (CUCS) is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic young professionals to help support our mission of helping to rebuild the lives of homeless and disadvantaged individuals and families.

CUCS’ Young Professionals Group (YPG) is an informal group of talented individuals from diverse sectors with a commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism. The goal of our YPG is to raise awareness of CUCS and our work through community outreach, fundraising, special events and pro-bono activities. This offers young professionals the opportunity to engage in meaningful work while growing personally and professionally.

YPG members will be asked to commit 3-5 hours monthly to:

  • Develop outreach ideas reflective of peer group interests
  • Engage in existing and create new peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns
  • Organize small cultivation and fundraising events
  • Participate in CUCS’ special events and annual giving campaigns

In turn, YPG members will have opportunities to network, learn new skills, and give back in engaging and significant ways.

Every year, CUCS helps more than 50,000 people – enough to fill Yankee Stadium! Come join our mission and make a positive impact!
