Description

Volunteer your time in exchange for a Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) share! Land's Sake, a community farm and non-profit organization in Weston, MA, is looking for friendly and responsible lovers of locally and sustainably grown vegetables to help monitor our CSA vegetable pickups. We need two volunteers, one to work from 2pm-7pm Thursdays and the other two work from 11am-4pm on Saturdays. Both positions last 20 weeks. Our CSA program starts the week of June 4th and runs through week of October 15.

CSA Tent Monitors are the face of the CSA, providing a welcoming and friendly visitor experience. Monitors will greet shareholders, help them navigate their pick-ups, pass along important information, relay feedback to farmers, and answer questions. They are also responsible for restocking and maintaining CSA displays, and may need to lift up to 30 pounds. Work takes place outside at Land's Sake Farm in Weston. Farm staff will ensure proper training on both the produce and procedures of the CSA.
