CADIP offers a project organized in cooperation with Math Village, a summer school in the village of Sirince in the west of Turkey. The school owns more than 1,000 olive trees and harvests about 20 tons of olives per year. The oil produced from these olives is used in the school kitchen. Volunteers can join the olive picking and packing to support the school. If the harvest is low, volunteers can help with some minor renovation and landscaping around the village.

Project dates:

  • December 2 - December 15, 2018
  • December 16 - December 29, 2018

The project is open to individual volunteers, as well as single parents or families with children.

Sirince is very attractive and is famous for its homemade wines and traditional architecture.
