We are looking for researchers to volunteer their curious minds and sleuthing skills for social justice. Through our programs and initiatives, we seek to employ evidence-informed practice, using the most current research available on racial disparity and ways to strengthen the African American community. Candidates will have a passion for social justice and racial equality in our community, cultural awareness and competency, and the ability to translate these values into their work.
Applicants with a penchant for investigation, familiarity with research methods, and the ability to synthesize data for practical application will make the best candidates. Anyone who knows where to look for information, enjoys reading research, and who can summarize findings so that research applications can be found efficiently is welcome to apply. College and graduate students: this is a great opportunity to build your resume while working on your own social justice research!
