Summer is “leafing” us behind, and now it’s time to fall into our autumn events. There are plenty of ways to get involved in October. Be the coolest kid in the class and sign up to volunteer first!

Thursday, October 20: BostonTalks Happy Hour: Odd Jobs
Location: WGBH Studios
Description: Guests will hear from and connect with local experts in a variety of fields while enjoying the great company of their neighbors from Boston and beyond. We’re talking unusual, curious and offbeat jobs! Specifically, the intersections of fashion and disability; psychic mediums and investigation; and junkyards and inventions. Hear from Open Style Lab Co-Founder Grace Teo (@openstylelab), Psychic Medium and Investigator Kelle Sutliff (@KellePyschic), and leader of THE NERDS aka the New England Rubbish Deconstruction Society, Jeff Del Papa. Join Grace, Kelle and Jeff for a smarter happy hour hosted by Edgar Herwick (@ebherwick3).
Position/Shift: Registration (6:30-9pm), Greeter (6:45-8pm), Photographer (6:45-9:15pm), Food Host (6-9:30pm).
*Volunteers must be at least 21 years of age
