Do you love playing with children? Is reading Dr. Seuss and making Play-Doh castles your idea of a great Saturday morning? If so, join Generation Hope’s HOPE CORPS Program!

Generation Hope is currently looking for fun-loving, passionate volunteers to join our Hope Corps Program. Hope Corps Members will play a crucial role in helping Generation Hope achieve our mission. By providing high-quality childcare at every Scholar training, Hope Corps Members make it possible for our Scholars to concentrate on learning important knowledge and skills that will make them successful in college, instead of worrying about securing a babysitter. It’s volunteers like Hope Corps Members who make it possible for us to train our Scholars in college- and career-readiness, so that they can have success in college and beyond. Participating in the Hope Corps is a terrific opportunity for those who want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our Scholars and their children.

So that our Members can build meaningful and lasting relationships with our Scholars’ children, Hope Corps Members are expected to make a year-long commitment to provide childcare for at least three (3) events. Hope Corps Members can sign up in advance for the events that they’d like to attend. Depending on how many events Hope Corps Members participate in, this will a 2-6 hour commitment every quarter. All events are metro-accessible. Hope Corps Members must also submit a background check and attend a 2-hour orientation before joining the Hope Corps.
