Description

Asian American LEAD Youth Leadership Empowerment and Development (AALEAD) is a youth development organization. Our mission is to support low-income and underserved Asian Pacific American youth with educational empowerment, identity development, and leadership opportunities through after school, summer, and mentoring programs. For more information, please visit our web site at www.aalead.org.

We will be hosting a variety of events and workshops during the month of July for our summer programs that depend on dedicated volunteers to be successful. Workshop facilitators are volunteers who are interested in teaching a one-time or weekly workshop through an activity related to art, music, creative writing mental health and wellness, physical health and fitness, skill building, leadership, career development, Asian American identity or general identity development topics. Program times vary by site. Please contact Vi Bui, Volunteer Program Coordinator, at vbui@aalead.org for more information.
