  • Volunteer Opportunity posted by CADIP

Time Commitment

Full time (30+ hrs/wk)

Long-Term (6 months-1 year)

International volunteers are invited in different Moroccan cities to teach one or two foreign languages (English, French, Spanish, Italian, German) to children and young people with less educational opportunities.

This project is the result of a partnership with the local community. The aim of the project is reinforcement of the language capacities of children and youth with fewer opportunities. In this project, we will try to gather both Moroccan and international volunteers.

Volunteers' main tasks include teaching, organizing activities and preparing lessons. Besides the language classes, the volunteers and the students will also participate in theatre, seminars, excursions and cultural activities. The volunteers will work five days a week, five hours a day, with two days off per week.

Special requirements: Volunteers should be motivated to teach children and young people; have enough skills and competences to achieve this mission; be open-minded, flexible, sociable, creative and open for communication and intercultural exchange with the Moroccan population.

Location: Rabat, Casablanca, Essaouira

Duration: The volunteer placements are from 2 to 12 months.
