Volunteer in Argentina: Creating sustainable social change in Buenos Aires
- Volunteer Opportunity posted by CADIP
Long-Term (6 months-1 year)
The project is focused on the communities of South America where due to environmental, social and governmental reasons, citizens struggle to rise above social inequality. The purpose of this project is to help those who constantly battle with the day-to-day socio-economic challenges. Therefore, the aims of the project are to create sustainable social change through building relationships and implementing strategic systems and structures, to provide a platform for transition from subsistence to maintaining a good quality of life for each individual, to actively support current generations in creating healthy and livable communities and plan for future generations to follow their example.
The volunteers will provide food to children and young people in a slum of Montechingolo every day. They will also organize art and cultural workshops.
Project dates: November 16 - December 1, 2018
