Description

All Aboard Animal Rescue is a 100% foster-based 501(c)3 nonprofit that rescues dogs from high-kill shelters. Our volunteer foster families give our dogs their only chance at finding a forever home by providing a caring a nurturing temporary home for them while they wait to be adopted.

Each foster family actually saves three dogs.

The dog they are fostering eventually finds their forever family. They free up All Aboard Rescue to take another at-risk dog, and they allow the shelters that we receive dogs from to save another life.

We have opportunities for fostering that range from one night to a month or more.

  • Our new dogs come to us from shelters on Fridays. They all need a home for the night until our weekly adoption events on Saturday.
  • Dogs that don't get adopted on Saturday need a foster home to stay in until the following Saturday.
  • Some of our dogs, through not fault of their own, don't get adopted for several weeks or a couple of months. Those dogs benefit from fosters willing to provide them a home for as long as it takes for them to find their new family.

We have a lot of dogs in need. They range from 10-week old puppies to adults that are two-to-five years old.
