Ho Chi Minh

Support and care for the abandoned children of South Vietnam. Famous in Ho Chi Minh City, this orphanage run by monks, is a place of charity for underprivileged children and for treating their illnesses. At present, more than 200 children live in the orphanage and receive care and education. Almost half of the children suffer from cerebral palsy, blindness or Down syndrome. The volunteers will spend time with these children, teaching basic English, playing games, and other creative activities. As part of the program, participants are expected to help renovate or improve classrooms and houses for the children, which includes cleaning and painting.
