Description

Go Volunteer Africa offers an opportunity to volunteer at an orphanage project in Kenya. We accept people from all around the world to participate on this orphanage volunteer project in Kenya. Your main role as a volunteer participating in our project is to bring some joy, hope to the lives of orphans and vulnerable children under this program and help local staff with the daily routines.

Volunteers at our orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya are free to tutor the children, organize arts and crafts or sports activities, and help out with basic chores such as feeding the kids, and folding laundry. At the orphanage, volunteers help with the daily care of the kids, playing with them, showing them attention, even to teach a bit English to the older children.

This volunteer project can be quite emotional when you see poverty close you but you will be able to help and you will be given full training and support when participating. You won’t be alone either, there will be volunteers from all over the world helping too.

Any volunteer interested in the orphanage volunteer project in Kenya will be required to provide a CRB check to participate. This is a life-changing volunteering experience to anyone who would like to spend their summer, career break, gap year or volunteer holiday working at an orphanage in Kenya.
