Description

Remineralize the Earth

Remineralize the Earth (RTE) promotes the use of finely ground rock dust and sea-based minerals to restore soils. Our website has the only online research database for studies on remineralization worldwide. Through our education and outreach, projects, research, and advocacy, RTE facilitates a worldwide movement that brings together gardeners and farmers, scientists and policymakers, and the public to regenerate soils and forests around the world, increase the nutritional quality and yield of food, and stabilize the climate through carbon sequestration.

We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate our database. Through conferences in Brazil, there are many studies available in Portuguese that we would like to have translated into English. Some tasks entail:

  1. Contacting authors in Portuguese to translate their paper into English.
  2. Contacting authors for legal permission to post the full study.
  3. Work with RTE’s Portuguese to English translators either in SmartCat or Basecamp to have studies translated.
  4. Organizing and uploading research in our database.
  5. Finding online research to integrate into our research database.
  6. Work together with our RTE volunteer who uploads the new studies into the database.
