Looking for Interns!
- Volunteer Opportunity posted by Iringa Partners in Health, Education, and Environment
Times of day
Part time (10-30 hrs/wk)
Short-Term (few weeks/months)
Interns are invited to the lovely town of Iringa to help with educational programs run by Iringa Partners. Our non-profit organization manages a hostel, called Alizeti Hostel, where volunteers will find themselves feeling right at home!
Iringa Partners runs daily programs for street youth, adults, and young women. We also have a village program outside of town. We support local artists by selling their work in the hostel, and offer numerous low-budget local tours in the area, with all proceeds going to the NGO. Interns are asked to stay for a minimum of three months. They may choose to help with one of our current programs, or may work with the Program Manager to create a new program according to the community's needs and their own interests and expertise.
You are warmly welcome!
