Description

The National Coalition for Homeless Veterans has established a volunteer program to help make the 2018 NCHV Annual Conference a success. Volunteering is a great way to network and learn while getting a behind-the-scenes look at the conference.

Volunteers are eligible to attend the conference and are provided with meals on the day(s) that they are confirmed to work. In exchange, volunteers are expected to work 8-10 hours for the duration of the Conference. Volunteers are the face of 2018 NCHV Annual Conference. As such, volunteers are expected to be punctual, respectful and helpful during their shifts. It is very beneficial to you to become knowledgeable on various aspects of the conference such as event locations, layout of the venue, general conference information, and program details.

Scheduling volunteers requires a tremendous amount of planning and cooperation; NCHV appreciates your willingness to help make this year’s conference a huge success, by honoring your shifts, showing up on time, and staying until the job is done!

There are 4 volunteer roles to choose from, you must work all shifts related to a role. Volunteer orientation is mandatory for all volunteers.
