Becoming a peer support group facilitator at Good Grief is a unique, engaging, and transformative volunteer experience. Facilitators at Good Grief help to create a safe and empathic environment for grieving families after the death of a loved one by helping foster resiliency and develop healthy coping skills that will serve them for the rest of their lives.
The comprehensive training is an engaging experience which develops skills, reframes ideas about death and bereavement, explores the complexity of the grieving process and variables that impact grief, and provides a personally transformative experience. 100% of our 250+ facilitators agree they would “highly recommend” our training to others.
