Description

Do you like to work with children? Are you looking to make a difference in a child's future? If you answered yes to either of these questions, this is the opportunity for you! SOY Pittsburgh After School is the after school program of the Latino Community Center, located in Beechwood Elementary School. You will have the opportunity to support our amazing students in becoming more successful in school! Depending our your comfort level, you will be placed with an individual or small group (no more than three) to tutor and help with homework. If you would prefer to work specifically with a certain age, or even just come and plan PE games or support with cultural activities, there are opportunities for you! We meet Monday-Friday from 3:00-6:00, and we welcome tutors anytime between 3:15-5:15. We ask that tutors commit to coming at least once a week for 45 minutes to an hour.
