Are you looking to make a difference at home or overseas? Check out Uganda Rural Fund's volunteer opportunities to work with children, youths and women in rural villages. We take volunteers all-year-round. Volunteers live with a host family and work alongside the local staff. You will have opportunity to gain a wide range of skills working on any of the programs listed below.


URF is a grassroots non-profit organization that empowers AIDS orphans, underprivileged youths and women in rural Uganda to fight poverty, through educational, healthcare outreach, and sustainable development opportunities.

Programs you can work on: high school, kindergarten, child sponsorship, child headed family support, after school program, youth leadership camps, peer counselling, women empowerment, village banking, agriculture, clean water, sanitation, and energy, medical camps, clinic, AIDS and health care outreach.
