Description

Volunteers Needed!

The Coast Kitchen (TCK) is a FREE community meals program that has been made possible through a mutually beneficial collaboration between the Cambridge Community Center (CCC), Food For Free, and Harvard University. In 2015, we started providing free community dinners each month to people of all ages living in the city of Cambridge. The dinners are held on site at the CCC, which is located in the heart of the Coast neighborhood.

In order to make this program run effectively, The Coast Kitchen needs volunteers to help with setting up tables and chairs, food prep, food service, and clean-up. Volunteers are generally needed from 5PM - 8PM on the nights that we serve meals. No prior experience is necessary.

The meals take place on the third Friday of each month from 6:00PM – 7:30PM. This is a recurring monthly volunteer opportunity. All questions and inquiries can be directed to Darrin Korte at darrink@cambridgecc.org
