Parameters of Volunteer Position
The Lucas Artists Residency Program (LAP) at Montalvo Arts Center in Saratoga, California seeks an Arts Program Volunteer with excellent writing and critical thinking skills to help in all elements of the administration of the Lucas Artists Residency Program. This is an unpaid, volunteer position. We hope to find a talented individual who is looking for a long-term relationship with our organization so that they can play an integral, ongoing role within our dedicated team in supporting over 100 artists a year from all over the world.
This position requires a minimum 3-6 month commitment (ideally ongoing), and a minimum of 10-15 hours per week. The position requires excellent critical thinking and writing skills, the ability to write creative, professional and error-free text, and the ability to work independently. Experience with social media platforms and uploading text and video is a plus.
