Description

Hello!

We are Unsilence.org -- a human rights education non-profit that designs interactive learning experiences for youth and communities using arts and technology. Our goals is to facilitate tough conversations, shed light on hidden human rights stories, and inspire people to become activists in their own communities.

On Saturday, July 21, we are hosting SHADOWS: A HUMAN RIGHTS TREASURE HUNT.

This event will kick off at the Willis Tower, and will send participants all around the Loop via clues tied to historic human rights locations around Chicago. Participants will learn about current human rights and social justice movements happening in Chicago and how they get involved.

We are in search of volunteers, of all ages and skill sets, to help us pull off this massive event! We need people to help man clue stations, provide help assistance to participants along the scavenger hunt way, and to help us check-in participants at the start of the event.

The event will take place Saturday, July 21st from 10am until 2pm, but we could use volunteers as early as 8am that day. If you cannot stay the whole time, that's okay! We would love to have your participation anyway. All volunteers will be given a free t-shirt, tote bag and lunch.

Please email kayla@unsilence.org with subject line "Volunteer for SHADOWS" if you'd like to learn more! We are happy to accommodate volunteers of all ages and physical abilities.
