The Regional Rail Lead will help support and coordinate the work of the Regional Rail Committee as we push for improvements to our 20th century system. This work will range from organizational and strategic research to working with the events and communications teams to spread the message to the right people at the right times.
- Help compile research for appendices and additional media for individual lines
- Identify political allies and critical organizations to join the Regional Rail Coalition
- Help coordinate Regional Rail events/briefings
- Write op-ed pieces and gather local testimonials
Key Qualifications: Helpful to have limited experience with small event planning (20-50 people); social media writing; transit or community organizing experience useful.
Estimated Time Commitment: 5-10 hrs/month
Reports to: Regional Rail Campaign Lead
