Description

Volunteer with WHEAT's Hand to Hand Project and its Fair Trade Store supporting lifestyle change locally and globally.

Fair Trade is major program of the World Hunger Education, Advocacy & Training organization -WHEAT - operating as an outreach project to end hunger and seek economic justice around the globe.

Sharing the stories of the artisans and growers who create and grow fairly traded quality merchandise from multiple resources empowers the individual artisan and supports a sustainable way of life. Making these quality products available for immediate purchase provides ongoing work so that they can feed, clothe, house and educate their families.

Volunteers will help with merchandising, displays, promotions and marketing; learning about and sharing the stories of the artisans and growers with customers; creating and sharing on social media; staffing tables and booths at local organizations and faith communities, conferences, conventions and special events.
