Lenox Hill Neighborhood House, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers, is a 124-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services which significantly improve the lives of 15,000 people in need each year on the East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking volunteers to teach a beginner level English as a Second Language class for adult students. Volunteers can pick to teach a class on either Tuesday or Thursday, 9:15am-12:15pm. The class, which runs October 16 - December 4, is a theme-based, integrated skills class that uses a textbook. Training and supervision are provided.
