Do you have a yearning to Really Make a Difference?


 


Become a Caring and Crisis Hotline Volunteer Listener.


Join our listening community.


Volunteers receive 52 hours of comprehensive classroom training in active listening, Mental Health First Aid and Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training.


New listeners also get 24 hours of practice answering calls with the support of seasoned listeners before you answer calls on your own.


Additionally, once you are a certified listener we provide a range of support and training opportunities so you can continue to develop your skills.


 

The training includes:

Mental Health First Aid

ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) certifications.


 


Join our Wednesday Evening training:


September 12, 2018 – December 12, 2018


Wednesdays 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm 


Plus one full weekend: December 1 and 2, 2018
