Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Sojourn! After you have attended all training sessions and volunteered with our organization for 6 months, you will receive a certificate of achievement which will indicate completion of your training.

Sojourn’s 40-hour training will cover everything from crisis intervention and peer counseling skills to legal and social service resources, with help from experts in their respective fields. If you are not interested in volunteering with Sojourn but wish to further your education on domestic violence, you can attend the training for a fee of $250.00. Otherwise, the training is free-of-charge, as are all of our services for victims.
