The aim of this volunteer project is to promote social inclusion through sport, create social ties and instill positive values through collective sports. The volunteers will work with children and youth from the town of Kenitra in northern Morocco. They will use sport as a tool to encourage socialization and improve self-esteem among the youngsters.

The international volunteers, along with local participants, will organize football, basketball, handball and other games for children and youth in Kenitra. Special attention will be given to including those who have difficulties integrating into society. Also some round tables will be organised to discuss issues that concern children and youth. The local community is very friendly and are willing to support the volunteers in achieving the project's goal.

Special requirements: Volunteers should be motivated to work with children; have relevant skills and competences; be passionate, open-minded, creative, sociable, respectful of the local culture and open for intercultural exchange

Location: Kenitra, 40 km from the capital Rabat

Duration: The volunteer placements are from 2 to 12 months.
