Lenox Hill Neighborhood, widely recognized as one of New York's premier human services providers, is a 125-year-old settlement house that provides an extensive array of effective and integrated services which significantly improve the lives of 15,000 people in need on the East Side of Manhattan. We are seeking volunteers to teach an advanced level English as a Second Language class for adults. The class schedule will be Wednesdays, 9:15am-12:15pm, October 2 - December 11 (no class on 11/27). Our English as a Second Language program provides high quality, interactive instruction to a diverse student body. We seek to increase students' language skills, confidence in speaking and comprehension of English. To apply please contact Anthony Snowden, Volunteer Director at 212-218-0487 or asnowden@lenoxhill.org.
