Description

Wolfe Street Academy is a neighborhood charter school operated by the Baltimore Curriculum Project in Upper Fells Point, serving 250 students in grades Pre-K through 5. Approximately 80% of our students come from recent immigrant households, and speak Spanish at home. Approximately 60% of our students receive ESL (English as a Second Language) instruction, and over 95% come from low-income households.

Volunteers are needed to tutor students K-5 grade in reading, writing and math. Tutors work with students during the after school program. The after school program operates Monday through Thursday from 3:00-6:00pm. Volunteers are provided all materials needed when working with students. Volunteers typically work with students once per week for an hour. Scheduling is flexible based on volunteer availability.
