Description

Program Coordinator volunteers will represent MECCA within the community, acting as advocates for our mission and programs. They focus on educating community members about our goals and the need for our programs, which helps to build support for our mission and awareness for our cause. Their responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • conducting general outreach, such as representing MECCA at community events,
  • meeting with community groups to educate them about MECCA or passing out flyers
  • assisting with marketing and planning skills classes, support groups or other activities
  • completing administrative projects for our program


Volunteers may also work directly with our program participants. Their responsibilities may include:

  • contacting participants to schedule appointments
  • invite participants to skills classes, support groups or other activities providing participants with referrals or linkages to other resources in the community
