PROJECT CURE - C.U.R.E. CLINICS
This is a great opportunity to get Global Health experience without making a substantial time commitment. C.U.R.E. Clinics are an extension of the Project C.U.R.E. Cargo program offering medical support, services and education to Project C.U.R.E. international partners. C.U.R.E. Clinics benefit from the knowledge and expertise of all medical professionals. Our trips consist of doctors, nurses, advanced practitioners and medical assistants. Most needed specialties are pediatrics, women’s health, rheumatology, family practice and generalists. However, if you have the desire to serve, we will help you find a way to use your skills. Project C.U.R.E’s Clinic trips welcome both medical and non-medical participants. As a volunteer participant, once you arrive in country you are free to absorb the culture, make new friends, learn about the local healthcare system and make the impact you signed up to make.
ABOUT THIS TRIP
In collaboration with Newmont Mining Corporation, Project C.U.R.E ran its first ever clinic to Suriname in March of 2015 and follow up in June 2016 and 2017. Join us this June 2018, as we directly address the needs of the population through our primary care clinics. Suriname is little known and traveled wtih a diverse culture and beautiful natural environment! Not only will you have the opportunity to interact with unique local communities, but you will also be actively participating in fostering change in the global health sector by promoting awareness and educational training.
