The Community Solutions Program, (CSP), funded by the U.S. Department of State and implemented by IREX, is seeking applicants to participate in the 2018 Selection Committee. CSP is a leadership development fellowship that provides high potential community leaders from over 80 countries around the world with an intensive, professional exchange in the United States. CSP fellows gain valuable experience in community work and strengthen their capacity for leadership and development in their home countries.
The Selection Committee is responsible for reviewing and scoring CSP applications to help select the best and brightest community leaders. This is a great opportunity to learn how local leaders across the globe are changing their communities for the better. CSP is specifically interested in recruiting those who have prior community development experience or expertise in one of CSP's four thematic areas: Women & Gender Issues, Tolerance & Conflict Resolution, Environmental Issues, and Transparency & Accountability.
Selection Committee members are expected to review and score approximately 30 CSP applications (no more than 15 minutes each) between November 8 - 26, 2017. They will receive a $100 honorarium for their time and service. Here is a link to more information about the CSP Selection Committee opportunity, and here is a link to the Selection Committee application. The deadline to apply is October 15, 2017.
