The Emerald City Resource Guide is a printed, pocket-sized booklet that is accessible to low-income and homeless people, and provides critical direction on how to receive meals, shelter, healthcare, and other essential services.

This pocket-sized portal to change puts roughly 130 pages of these essential services and resources at the fingertips of homeless and very low-income people. In order to keep the content of the Resource Guide reliable and accurate, Real Change publishes the Guide annually and distributes 40,000 copies through nearly 100 human service agencies, first responder groups, and branches of the Seattle Public Library. To accomplish this, we rely very heavily on the help and support of amazing volunteers like you!

Volunteers! We're looking for volunteers to help support the creation of the Emerald City Resource Guide by fact-checking the accuracy of phone numbers, addresses, and details such as this, for resources like shelters, healthcare services, drug treatment services, meal services, job readiness programs, and more. This position has very flexible hours! Currently, we're welcoming volunteers every Tuesday and Friday from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. However, it's also possible to work from our Pioneer Square office nearly anytime during business hours, just let us know what works best for you!
