The Long Island Bike Challenge (LIBC) is an annual charity bike ride that inspires dedicated cyclists to ride across Long Island with the goal being to raise funds to prevent and cure cancer. Every dollar raised by riders is donated to The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research, which is the research branch of the Northwell Health System.
Volunteers are needed to assist bike riders at designated waterstops along the route. Duties include setting up tables, preparing sandwiches, cutting fruit, keeping drinks on ice and cleaning up when finished. Volunteers are especially needed at the following locations: Medford, Westhampton, and Southampton. Volunteers will be at the designated location for approximately 3-4 hours.
All volunteers receive a free T-Shirt.
