Description

Real Options for City Kids (R.O.C.K.) is looking for volunteers who love outdoor adventures and want to make a difference as a positive adult mentor.

Student Adult Leadership Training (SALT) is part of our Saturday programs and it provides middle and high school participants with novel experiences to broaden their horizons and offer opportunities they wouldn't otherwise have access to, plus the chance to bond with some great adult role-models. This session of SALT begins October 6th through November 10th (every Saturday for six weeks). Time and activities vary depending on the day.*

Some activities for the fall session include: kayaking, hiking, visiting museums, a pumpkin patch and more! All volunteers must have a car to provide student transportation to and from each event.

This is a great opportunity to do something positive in San Francisco as well as meet some great kids. Be sure to check out rocksf.org for more information and our other volunteer programs!

Please note: it is not a requirement to attend all six weeks though it is strongly recommended. If you prefer to volunteer once or twice, or want to volunteer but don't have a car, please email jenna@rocksf.org.
