Bethesda Help, an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, offers immediate short-term assistance to residents of southern Montgomery County, Maryland, who are in financial crisis. The Executive Director manages and serves as the focal point for all activities of Bethesda Help, an organization with approximately 50 volunteers. This position requires a commitment of 10-15 hours per week, mainly during regular business hours.
Responsibilities include: (1) General Management of the Organization - maintaining corporate documents and revising operating policies and procedures; (2) Fundraising and Grants – participating in fundraising efforts and monitoring existing grants; (3) Oversight of Daily Operations - providing guidance to volunteers and tracking and analyzing operations; (4) Communications - managing internal and external communications.
This is a volunteer position that is carried out from the volunteer's home or office.
