Bonobo Conservation Initiative (BCI) is the only international organization solely dedicated to protecting bonobos, a highly endangered species of great ape. BCI's mission is to protect bonobos, preserve their tropical rainforest habitat, and empower local communities in the Congo Basin. By working with local Congolese people through cooperative conservation and community development programs, and by shaping national and international policy, BCI is establishing new protected areas and leading efforts to safeguard bonobos wherever they are found.

Wildlife Conservation Network's Mission is to protect endangered species and preserve their natural habitats by supporting entrepreneurial conservationists who pursue innovative stategies for people and wildlife to co-exist and thrive. The 2017 Wildlife Conservation Expo is October 14th in San Francisco, CA.
