The Hedonisia Hawaii Fair-Trade Volunteer Program allows you to have an affordable vacation in Hawaii while doing volunteer work that is aligned with your ideals!
We are looking for hard working, and friendly people with a love for nature and eco-living in a small sustainable community in Hawaii.
We accept Volunteers on the basis of availability, skills, friendliness, ease to live with, work performance and their understanding and enthusiasm of the sustainable policies of Hedonisia Hawaii.
Volunteers at Hedonisia often meet new friends, and leave with a feeling of satisfaction and enjoyment that comes from living, learning and working in the Hawaii Rainforest!
As an "ecotourist" volunteer in Hawaii, there is a cost to your stay. However, at $120 for the first week and $60 for each week thereafter, it is a great price to stay in Hawaii!
Volunteers can stay as little as one week up to about 3 months. And we've had some amazing volunteers who've stayed even longer.
Volunteer times are from Monday to Thursday from 9:30am for 3 hours. Every weekend is a long weekend giving you a lot of time to explore the attractions of Hawaii!
Most volunteer work is in the land (garden, jungle clearing, trail work etc). However, as a community with lodgings and facilities we have lots of jobs for those who like to clean! As long as you are enthusiastic and willing to learn we can find a job for your abilities!
