Pod Volunteer offers volunteers the opportunity to contribute to valuable research in ecological fragile and diverse environments. You could join teams in Greater Kruger National Park, tropical rainforests or in unique Madagascar!


Carribbean Conservation in Belize


Assist the award-winning team by monitoring and collecting data on a variety of native species including turtles, manatees, yellow-headed parrots and frogs. Volunteers' research helps guide government legislation, influencing decision making to protect the environment and preserve the local ecosystem.


Conservation in Madagascar


Join the conservation team in unique Madagascar and work to conserve the endangered coastal forest through biodiversity research and supporting community initiatives! This forest is home to a number of unique species including; lemurs, flying fox bats and chameleons, the conservation strategy to protect this ecosystem is vital to its survival and is driven by the research volunteers contribute to.


Amazon Conservation in Peru


We are looking for volunteers to join the conservation team in the heart of the Amazon rainforest! Volunteers collect research on the ecosystem and support sustainable community projects in order to help the team conserve the rainforest! In doing so you will have the opportunity to identify and study local wildlife including the blue-headed macaw, jaguars and monkeys.


Big 5 and Kruger Conservation in South Africa


Volunteers are needed to secure the future of wildlife populations including lion, elephant, rhinos and leopards in a private game reserve and Greater Kruger National Park. Data collected is used to create conservation plans for endangered species living in the region. Volunteers receive bush training to learn the key skills required to support rangers who manage the game reserve!
