Our Mission:

Our mission is to support children and young adults with disabilities or low economic resources in the Cusco region by providing them access to basic education, health care and skills training as well as developing medium and long-term sustainable projects to improve their chances to having a brighter future.

There are 4 main areas of work in our organization:

  1. Integral Support Program

We support 17 beneficiaries and their families in various fields (e.g. educational, health, social, emocional, legal, etc.) according to individualized development plans based on their needs.

2.      Community Development Projects

We help improve the quality of life for our beneficiary families and communities by building or improving existing infrastructures, and facilitating training workshops.

3.      Educational Projects in Schools

We host English classes and different workshops in rural schools, as well as we provide support from our volunteers in community and special needs public schools.

4. Health and Social Aid Campaigns

We organize health campaigns with health care professionals and aid campaigns in communities. We also collaborate with public and private partners in organizing this types of campaigns.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Peruvian borders have been closed since March 2020. Our on-site volunteer program is suspended to date, but we’re still working hard to support our beneficiaries and keep on running our projects with the passion and motivation that characterizes us.

We are currently looking for online volunteers, in positions like: marketing and social media, graphic design, fundraising and grant writing, among others. You can also apply to the on-site volunteering in Ollantaytambo for 2021.

If you're interested, send an email to volunteerperu@mysmallhelp.org and we will tell you more about our volunteer projects and the volunteer house Ollantaytambo.
