Description

Lambert House is Seattle's lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and questioning youth community center. We are seeking meals volunteers to prepare and serve dinner once per month, or more. Meals are sit-down, family style with LGBTQ & ally youth (11-22 years old), volunteers & staff ranging from 15-25 people per meal.

Meals volunteers plan the menu and provide the ingredients. We ask meals volunteers to provide a vegetarian option as part of their meal. We always provide the kitchen, utensils, and hungry mouths!

Volunteers must go through our volunteer recruitment process culminating in three days of training. Our next training is June 2, 3, and 9; 2018. Meals volunteers must also have a food handler's permit prior to beginning service.

Send us an email to receive our volunteer application and more information about our process.
