Sound Mind Amplifiers Advisory Council -- Join our dynamic young professionals group

The Sound Mind Amplifiers Advisory Council (SMAAC) promotes Sound Mind Live and supports its leadership in the pursuit to harness the power of music to break the stigma of mental health. This visionary group brings together a group of leading young professionals with diverse skill sets and interests who have a shared passion for mental health.

Roles

SMAAC will be governed by one Chair and three Vice Chairs (Communications, Network, Governance). Members will vote for the roles at the beginning of each yearly board cycle.


Member Commitment

● Attendance - SMAAC will convene 4 times per year and each member will be expected to attend at least 3 meetings virtually

● Individual support - Each member is expected to commit to a $40/month contribution to support Sound Mind’s mission and programs.

● Outreach - Each member will serve as an ambassador for Sound Mind and collaborate on projects such as:

○ Leveraging each member’s knowledge, professional, and personal networks to

help guide Sound Mind’s mission and spread awareness of strategic initiatives

○ Assessing opportunities to integrate mental health into their workplace (mental

health event, employee engagement program, etc.)

○ Hosting one fundraiser per year
