Help Serve Lunch to Lantern Residents!
Lantern Community Services champions the independence and well-being of New Yorkers who are formerly homeless or have recently aged out of foster care and helps them recreate their lives. Our programs - with proven results in health, employment, education and life skills - are delivered inside our residences and tailored to each person’s needs.
Lantern is looking for volunteers who can give 2 hours each week to help serve lunch to the residents who live in Lantern’s supportive housing. This is a great way connect with our residents!
We have locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn and the Bronx, and all of them are accessible by public transportation.
Great Lantern volunteers are non-judgmental, reliable, and really care about the problem of homelessness in New York City. If that sounds like you, we'd love to meet you!
