Description

Over the past decade, over 1,500,000 visitors have enjoyed Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy’s free events and activities in Brooklyn Bridge Park. One of our most popular events, the Movies with a View series, welcomed over 30,000 visitors to Harbor View Lawn in 2018 to watch a selection of films focused on the year's theme: "She Directs".

The Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy Film Committee is a group of dedicated volunteers that select the theme and movies shown during our Movies with a View program. There are expected to attend three meetings in the winter (when the movies are selected), as well as assist on two movie nights on Thursdays during July/August (answering visitor questions, conducting surveys, accepting donations, etc). This is a unique opportunity to get involved in one of New York City's premier outdoor screening events.

Winter Film Meetings will take place on Thursday, December 13th, Thursday January 17th and Thursday, February 7th. They will take place in the evening, start times are TBD. Volunteering at film screenings take place from 6-8pm on two Thursdays in July and August.

The film application is located here:  https://brooklynbridgepark.wufoo.com/forms/miuu27k0mkqgwl/

Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Only successful applicants will be contacted.
