Alliance for Smiles is seeking a part-time (2 days/week) Social Media & Admin Assistant Volunteer.

Who we are: All over the world children born with cleft lip and palate anomalies suffer physically and emotionally. They may become malnourished and are prone to ear infections and hearing loss. Often times, they experience upper-respiratory problems or speech and dental difficulties; most need multiple operations. They commonly endure isolation and ridicule. Alliance for Smiles offers children and families with cleft anomalies hope for a bright future. We work to repair children’s broken smiles by providing free, comprehensive cleft treatment, in under-served areas of the world – transforming their lives forever.


-Help with social media posting and pictures design

-Content creation including writing, editing, updating, and email distribution

-Help with database and office administration

-Track and report on social media analytics

- Research partnership opportunities with businesses and organizations

-Help with event planning

The ideal candidate will have:

-Strong communication, writing, and organizational skills

-Experience working with Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram

-Experience or interest working with nonprofit organizations

-Strong skills working with PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and other relevant software and platforms

-Ability to work independently and as part of a team

-Enjoy multitasking and working on multiple projects within deadlines
