Who We Are:
The Martinez Fellowship is a program established by Edgar and Holli Martinez in 2008 with a mission of improving teacher diversity. In 2015, The Martinez Foundation entrusted Technology Access Foundation (TAF) to continue its efforts of diversifying the teacher population and improving ethically correct educational curriculum within school districts.
What We Do:
Currently, we have close to 120 active Martinez Fellows working in 24 school districts and positively influencing more than 8,500 students from some of the most diverse and high-needs schools in Washington.
There are five professional development seminars throughout the school year. Sessions are Fellow-driven and Fellow-led, and are designed to support Fellows’ needs as they develop in their practice and their careers.
Where You Fit In!
We are looking for photographers who can document the great work we are doing to help promote and tell the story of our fellows at our seminars and events. Camera will be provided as well as shot list.
